An annual event by the UW Foster School of business to honor inspiring leaders who’ve built great organizations, made outstanding contributions to their industry and shaped the future of business.

More than 600 business leaders, Foster supporters, alumni and students attend every year. Event proceeds support Foster School of Business student scholarships and fellowships. In 2019, Foster presented Distinguished Leadership Awards to Shelley Reynolds of Amazon and Brad Tilden of Alaska Airlines. The night also featured TED-style talks on different “Facets of Leadership.”

I planned the event from start to finish, working closely with a small team within Foster. I worked on everything from budget oversight, registration, choosing and coordinating vendors, menu selection, staff assignments and event content.
